Terms of Use

Last updated: 13 October 2026

Firearm safety comes first.

Dry-fire training means handling a real firearm. Before every session, unload your firearm and check it, put all ammunition in another room and point only in a safe direction.

Aimwright is a training aid. It does not replace a qualified instructor. You train at your own risk.

The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and VREEHUB (PTY) LTD, trading as Aimwright ("we", "us", "our"). They apply when you use the app at app.aimwright.com or the website at aimwright.com. When you create an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

What Aimwright is

Aimwright is a dry-fire training app. It runs your drills, gives the cues and keeps a record of your practice. Your instructor and your range day teach you. Aimwright keeps you practising in the weeks between your live-fire sessions.

Aimwright is not firearm instruction and does not guarantee any result. What you get out of it depends on the work you put in. It is not legal advice, and your training log is a personal record.

Who may use Aimwright

You must be 18 or older. You may only train with a firearm you are legally allowed to possess, or with a training replica, and you must follow the firearm laws where you live.

Safety is your responsibility

Follow the safety rules above, every session, without exception. Only train in a space where nobody can walk into your line of fire and where nothing behind your target could be harmed. Some programs include movement, so only do what is safe for your body and your space. The Tourniquet program is for a training tourniquet only. It is practice, not a first aid qualification. If you are unsure about anything, stop and ask a qualified instructor.

Your account

Use a real email address that you control, and keep your password private. Your username can be a nickname, but it may not be offensive or pretend to be someone else. One account is for one person, so do not share it. If you think someone else is using your account, tell us at support@aimwright.com.

Free trial and payment

Every new account gets a 7-day free trial. We do not ask for your card, and nothing is charged when the trial ends. To keep training after the trial, choose a paid plan. One free trial per person.

The monthly plan is paid in advance through Payfast and renews every month until you cancel. Prices are in South African rand and are shown in the app before you pay.

Launch price. R199 a month for the first 40 members. Your price stays at R199 while you remain a member, guaranteed for at least 12 months. After that, any change comes with at least 30 days' notice, and you can cancel any time. After the first 40 members, new members pay R299 a month. If you cancel and come back later, you pay the price that applies on the day you return.

Price changes. We may change prices for new members at any time. For existing members, we email you at least 30 days before a new price affects you, so you can cancel first if you want to.

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel any time. These are the rules:

Fair use

Do not share your account or resell access. Do not copy, record or republish the programs, drills or content. Do not try to get into parts of the service or data that are not yours, and do not use Aimwright for anything unlawful.

Who owns what

The Aimwright name, logo, programs, drills, tiers, wording, design and app belong to us. You may use them for your own training while you are a member. Instructors need our written permission to use the programs in their classes or courses.

Your training record belongs to you. You let us store and process it only to run Aimwright for you, as our Privacy Policy explains.

Changes to the service

We may add, change or remove programs and features. Programs marked "Coming soon" have no promised date. We work to keep Aimwright running, but we cannot promise it will never be down. The app keeps your training on your device for up to 7 days without signal and sends it to your account when you reconnect.

Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Profile. When you do, we delete your training record and account details, except the records the law requires us to keep, as our Privacy Policy explains. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts someone at risk or misuses the service. Where it is fair to do so, we will warn you first.

Our responsibility

We run Aimwright with reasonable care. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for injury, loss or damage caused by handling a firearm, ignoring the safety rules or using Aimwright in a way these terms do not allow. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the loss.

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law does not allow it to be limited, including for gross negligence, and nothing takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

Other websites and partners

The app or website may mention or link to other businesses, such as training providers. We choose the providers we list with care, but they run their own businesses, and we are not responsible for what they do.

How we keep you informed

We email you about your account, and we always email you when these terms or our Privacy Policy change, because that affects your account. We only email you about new features if you have agreed to it in the app, and you can change that choice in Profile at any time.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we update the date at the top. If a change is important, we email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and the app asks you to read and accept the new version. If you do not accept it, you can cancel before it takes effect.

Law and complaints

These terms are governed by South African law. If something goes wrong, please contact us first at support@aimwright.com so we can try to fix it. You may also contact the National Consumer Commission. Your rights under South African consumer law are not affected.
